Albany nanotech plant opens

A Seattle-based nanotechnology firm started operations Monday at a $28.4 million plant in Albany, with high hopes for expansion.
EnerG2 uses technology that was developed at the University of Washington to create carbon materials for use in batteries and capacitors that makes them both more efficient and longer-lasting, company CEO Rick Luebbe said.
